Mailbox is a web-based email client plugin for Perfex CRM with two prerequisites.
– You’ll need an IMAP account that can accept SSL/TLS connections from a third-party software (Perfex). If you are using a two-factor authentication, you must deactivate it; otherwise, your server will not accept connections.

– Perfex’s cronjob must be properly configured, as described here: https://help.perfexcrm.com/setup-cron-job/.

– You will not be able to utilize IMAP functionality with a POP account. Make sure your account is IMAP-based.

– This module was created to allow users to read and reply to all incoming emails inside Perfex. Sent emails from this module will be saved in the ‘Sent’ folder and will utilize Perfex’s outgoing email settings.

– Actions such as Star/Trash/Important will effect your local inbox (Perfex) and be saved in the database, together with their attachments, in the relevant location. This module has no influence over your IMAP server; it is just a one-way sync module that retrieves your unread Inbox emails.

– To prevent malicious code from being run within your dashboard, our module utilizes the email address associated with the staff member’s account to connect to the IMAP server (however each staff member may alter his or her own email address from his or her profile).
