Do you ever wish there was a web-based client for handling your emails inside the Perfex CRM admin area?

Fear not, because we have your back! You may enable your employees to send, receive, draft, and manage emails from their IMAP accounts right from their dashboard by using our module.

You are required to have an Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) account that is capable of accepting connections on SSL/TLS from a third-party application (your Perfex installation). In the event that you are operating under a two-factor authenticator, you are required to deactivate it; otherwise, your server will not accept connections.

You are required to have the cronjob of Perfex properly configured, as stated in the instructions that can be found at the following link: https://help.perfexcrm.com/setup-cron-job/

If you have a POP account, you will not be able to access the functions of an IMAP account. Ensure that your account is based on the Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP).

Within the confines of Perfex, this module was developed so that users could browse through and react to all incoming emails. Emails that are sent from this module will be saved in the ‘Sent’ folder of the module, and they will be sent using the outgoing email settings of Perfex.

It is important to note that actions such as “Star,” “Trash,” and “Important” will have an impact on your local inbox (Perfex), and they will be saved in the database, together with their attachments, in the relevant folder. This module is a one-way sync module that will retrieve your unread inbox messages; it does not have any influence over your Internal Mail Access Protocol (IMAP) server.

Although every staff member has the ability to alter his or her own email address from inside his or her profile, our module utilizes the email address associated with the staff member account to log in to the IMAP server. Additionally, our module parses emails in plain text mode in order to prevent dangerous code from being performed within your dashboard.
